High St.'s History
"Ordinary Jobs, Done Extraordinarily"
High St. Lawn Unlimited LLC originated in Concord, Massachusetts, due to the initiative of two close friends, Eli Hill and Jack Maloney. In 2016, they began their venture by shoveling driveways during the winter. Their initial earnings were modest, with each making $10 on their first day, but it was a promising start.
Both Eli and Jack were residents of Concord. Eli's connection to High Street in Concord became the inspiration for the company's name. Over the years, the business underwent several name changes, starting as JC&E Landscaping, then evolving to High Street Snow Removal, and later to High St. Snow and Yard. After much consideration over six years, they finalized the name as "High St. Lawn Unlimited."
For the initial six years, the business operated informally with Eli and Jack at the forefront. Despite the changes in its name, their commitment to delivering quality service remained consistent, helping them establish a strong reputation in the landscaping sector.
The year 2021 brought significant changes. Jack Maloney decided to step back, allowing Eli Hill to steer the company's direction. However, Eli was joined by four of his lifelong friends, who became co-owners. Each of them brought their unique skills, significantly contributing to the company's growth.
Max Hamel, skilled in marketing, took on the responsibility of enhancing the company's visibility and reach. Even as he began his studies at the University of Vermont, he continued to support the company. Aiden Sullivan, with his background in business from the University of Santa Clara, managed the company's finances. However, after a dedicated year, both Max and Aiden chose to focus on their academic pursuits.
Iain Bailey's contribution has been noteworthy. As the Lead Sales Director, he played a crucial role in expanding the company's customer base and maintaining strong relationships with them.
Charlie Robichaud, as the Lead Technician for Landscaping, ensured that the company's services were of the highest quality, meeting and often exceeding client expectations.
An interesting aspect of the company's journey is that all the co-owners, except for Eli, started as employees. Their transition to ownership roles not only marked a new phase for High St. Lawn Unlimited but also emphasized the deep bonds of friendship and shared vision that have been foundational to the company. Today, High St. Lawn Unlimited LLC stands as a symbol of dedication, ambition, and the power of collaboration.
